I just finished my 2nd Your Shape workout and let me tell you...
IT. IS. AWESOME!!!!
I was excited to get started and jumped into it yesterday. I started with the evaluation. Scored a 63% which is a B. Not bad for someone who has not exercised in years!
I opted to start my workout yesterday and went through and decided what parts of my body I wanted to work on. My "Core" is a major problem for me. I look pregnant and not just a little pregnant, full blown "She's about to pop" pregnant. It is stress weight and medication weight and "Oh damn that tastes so good I might as well have seconds (and thirds)" weight. Jenny thought otherwise and stated that I needed more work on my arms than anything so we compromised and did both. I am planning on doing 15 minute workouts daily because honestly, I don't think I can go more than 15 minutes at this point.
I noticed that when I focused on myself on the screen I messed up a lot but when I focused on Jenny I was able to do the exercises exactly as she was doing them. I also turned the sound up so that I could follow the beat.
Yelling at her helped too. Every time she corrected me I yelled right back. I mean, come on, she is a digital woman, not like I am going to hurt her feelings? right?
Gosh the yelling helped! Not only am I getting in shape I am also releasing some serious pent up anger.
So maybe Jenny and I wont be life long friends. Work out buddies yes but after the cussing out I gave her today I don't really think she is going to want to hang out with me much, except for when we are working out of course....
