Your Shape Workouts - My thoughts

I have been trying out all of the workouts on Your Shape. It is not true that you can't change your workout even after you set up your workout schedule. I have been changing mine every day! While I do find a lot of the same moves are in each workout, I do get different workouts!
Here is a quick run down of my thoughts on some of them:

Bikini Workout: I like this workout. This one is very "get up and go". It gets your heart pumping and in all honestly, I burned the most calories with this one. It has barely any floor moves, if any, and the moves are easy to follow. I felt this workout the most in my legs and arms. I also get a rush of energy after doing this workout. It may be a workout but it makes me feel great. I also love the music in this workout. It is really pumped up and full of energy!

Relax and Meditation: I like Yoga, I really do, but this Yoga program is just not for me for now. I did feel a bit more relaxed after doing it but want to feel a burn, which I did not feel. The Yoga moves are pretty easy, they did throw in one or two that seemed impossible, but I worked through them. The clock does not show while doing this workout and right now I NEED to see that I have 3 minutes left. It also did not show you how many calories you burned. I also had a hard time seeing Jenny do these moves because I was facing away from the TV for the move. If you know Yoga and know poses already then this workout should be a breeze and leave you feeling relaxed and at peace!

New Mom Workout: This workout kicked my booty the most without me even realizing it. I felt it in my arms, legs, stomach, butt, even my toes. Some of the moves were insane but some were just perfect. When the moves came on that I just could no do (and I swear Jenny was on crack for even suggesting them) I just danced to the upbeat music until she was done with those moves. I did not burn as many calories as I did in the Bikini workout but I felt more of my muscles were worked out. I think this is the perfect muscle building workout and toning workout.

I am still exploring Your Shape. There are so many different workouts and areas to target. I am also worrying less and less about the corrections that Jenny makes. It was annoying at first but now I am just use to it and sometimes correct my form mid sentence. No one is perfect and these moves are going to take some time to master especially for someone who has not worked out in years!
I also can not wait to add in the balance ball and weights! Yes, you can add in your own workout equipment into the routine! How cool is that!
